A different angle.
Turning club data into an interactive, three-dimensional view of football.
01 / Context
The problem
Club-provided football data was the starting point for an internal 3D visualisation tool. The project brought together my interests in software and football.
02 / Responsibility
My contribution
I built F-Vision with Python and Three.js during a ten-week project using club-provided data, and demonstrated it at the Etihad Stadium.
03 / Approach
The decisions
The tool combined Python and Three.js to bring data into an interactive 3D environment. That split connected data processing with a browser-based visual experience. The pitch illustration here is a conceptual miniature, not a reproduction of confidential club data.
- 01
Data
Work with club-provided data.
- 02
Perspective
Build an interactive 3D tool using Python and Three.js.
- 03
Demonstration
Present F-Vision at the Etihad Stadium.
04 / Result
The outcome
I built the internal tool during the ten-week project and demonstrated it to a judging panel including the club’s Head of Technology at the Etihad Stadium.
05 / Sources & context
Project duration, technology and presentation are documented in the CV. Source code, club datasets and internal screenshots are not publicly available; no adoption or performance metric is claimed.
